Shed House

Shed House, also commonly known as a ‘Shouse’, was the first of its kind for the JD Team. The idea came from the clients, who originally wanted to live in a shed but found this to be difficult regarding council rules and regulations. It was then decided that they would combine the shed and the home to form one big ‘Shed House’. The results were nothing short of remarkable.

An Industrial style was the obvious choice for this project, not just because it was a ‘Shed House’, but because it was built to house a family with 4 large men. Our clients absolutely nailed the brief. Polished concrete floors, large bathrooms, red brick features and timber vanities are just the beginning. A spacious laundry and wardrobes ensure ample storage and the soft navy-blue kitchen boasts an incredible 11m bench leading into the walk-in-pantry.

The Shed House has absolutely set the benchmark for the true meaning of Industrial Style. We can’t wait to see more of these in the Macedon Ranges.
