Our Process

Quality building and renovating require expertise from the outset. We work closely with a reliable team of draftspeople, engineers and surveyors to design and draft your custom home. After that, we do the rest – below is an overview.

Getting Started

Once you make contact with our team, you will be asked to complete a New Client Questionnaire. We will then contact you to arrange a time to meet and discuss your project further.

Preliminary Agreement

We present you with a Preliminary Service Package. You may simply require a quotation, or you may wish for us to assist with the design, engineering and other requirements to get your dream home started.

Once the package is tailored to suit your needs and the deposit is paid, we begin the quotation process.

Material Selection

You will attend our amazing Gallerie Studio in Port Melbourne to select your materials, fittings and fixtures.

We will work with you to complete a comprehensive Material Schedule for your project. This information allows us to quote your project accurately.

Final Quote Submission

We present you with a comprehensive 15-20 page costing report for your project, along with a detailed material schedule.

We work with you to make any changes necessary to meet your budget.

Contract Documentation

Once you have agreed to and signed our quote submission and material schedule, we present you with a plain English, HIA New Home Contract.

A payment of 5% of the contract value is now due.

Building Permit

Bank documentation and finances are finalised, and a building permit application is made. All necessary reports are obtained from council, water authorities and other professional bodies.

Construction Begins

Construction begins. We schedule site visits and inspections. You’re able to meet face to face with tradespeople to discuss your preferences.

You are regularly informed about the progress of your build via email, video messages, social media and a photo sharing application.

Final Inspection

Construction is almost complete, landscape planting is being finalised, the swimming pool is being filled with water, and its time to conduct your final inspection.

Project Completion

When the project is completed, you are provided with occupancy certificates and a final invoice. We do a walk through with you to check every last detail. We also book your official handover date.
